At age twelve I became an avid small game hunter, and later an accomplished big game bowhunter. Bowhunting for food and fun is my greatest passion.

In 2012 I achieved a life-long goal of catching every fish species in Utah, and now look forward to harvesting every big game species in North America with a bow. Foremost, I seek peace and pure Zen enlightenment through bowhunting.

I love teaching and writing. Over a seven-year stint I had the opportunity to teach archery to hundreds of people. This program helped me as much as it did them.

The goal of this blog is help my fellow hunters become more successful afield through education, enlightenment, and developing a deeper relationship with the natural world.

The photos above showcase some of my greatest bowhunting trophies, all taken while using the methods outlined in this website. All my hunting is done on public land.
